This is what my yard looks like after 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice coated everything last night. Currently the area is bracing for Round 2 of the storm and expecting another inch or so of ice, high winds and snow. Why is it that some of the most dangerous events in nature are also the most beautiful?
Wow, those shots are amazing. I really love the vines that are coated in ice. Although we won't be getting the snow and ice, we're bracing for the cold snap here in Louisiana. Stay warm and safe and thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures :)
Its freakin supposed to be 81 here tomorrow, the weather is so bizarre everywhere this year. Stay warm and safe, I'm wearing shorts to work tomorrow. Awesome pics BTW
Thats one thing I do NOT miss about North America; Winter. They whine here in England when the temps drop to zero. And I'm sorry to say I've become so acclimated to the milder weather now, I'm one of the whiners. Looks pretty when you don't actually have to deal with it.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the second photo. The evergreen reminds me of a cat's tail when its fuzzed - so bushy!
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm!
