Yeah, I'm still here. I've been working on new critters for upcoming shows, but just haven't felt like writing much. To be honest, the very thought of opening up this blog has seemed like a chore. I think I know why, but not really ready to delve deeper into it right now. So in the meantime, here's a few of my newest guys.
On a side note, my creatures this year are going to incorporate fabrics worn by my son Eric. It has been an interesting process to work each little scrap thru my sculpting medium, soaking it in the mixture then shaping it. Somehow, I feel like this is a good way to honor him and help renew some of my creative drive.
Understand completely the "not writing part"...your creations, however, are wonderful, and such a glorious tribute to your son, Eric.

Dave, As a blog writer myself, I understand it becoming a "chore". But, I love seeing photos of your creations. Maybe, try just posting photos for a while? Save all the writing until you feel like it.
