A new character for the Shadow Farm Graveyard, the Flagbearer is the leader of a morbid procession. Keep an eye out for future members of this grim parade.
I do so love where your head is at, Dave. Certainly there's a fondness in the community for ghost circles and zombie gangs, but a parade of spectral emissaries is downright clever.
As for the composition, the turn of the head is particularly sinister. The slow, lurching march is still underway, but he's taken a moment to pass a knowing glance at some unfortunate witness. Terrific!
I would like to see if you get that same look to your eyes that I do when I'm working on something. Feeling far far away but actually your just at the end of you fingers.
Kimily, there comes a point from time to time when I can see in my mind how a piece is going to turn out...all the elements of pose, color, texture, and expression become crystal clear even before the piece is done. When that happens, I would guess I have that look to my eyes. It is a wonderful feeling when all the elements fall in place, and total frustration when they don't.
Somehow, he's more chilling because he's only got half a jaw and almost a tooth. Excellent job!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the EXACT same thing as ShellHawk... teach me to get here late! ;)
ReplyDeleteVery creepy, thanks for letting us see!
Wonderfull job! I'm always amazed to see the talent of people in the haunting community.
ReplyDeleteKeep on going!
Absolutely amazing! Great work, can hardly wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Awesome as always. I love your work!

Ditto what KingUnicorn said!
