I'm totally digging it!! He has that sweet look like he is saying "Come'on I will show you the way" but once you go with him... you're never seen again.
I never doubt that you're channeling an older and less-embraced spirit of Halloween. There is a consistent "from the earth and grave" element in your work and it breathes more than just a living quality into every piece.
I'm waiting for particular publishers to take notice of what it is you're doing in your workshop and pay attention to how it bends far beyond some simple seasonal channel.
Thanks everyone. This is the first 'big' project I've done in a while, and I found it hard to get the creative juices flowing. The process seemed forced to me, but in the end it all started to gel again. Time to jump into something else while the waters are still warm.
I second KingUnicorn's sentiments. I've always thought it's only a matter of time before your works are discovered by someone who has the means to...well...assist in bringing your magic to a brighter spotlight.
