    Mr. Macabre, I think it might be the tilt of the head as it gazes at the lanterns. I hadn't planned on it being a she, but there is a definite feminine feel to her that adds to the youthfullness.
    Kimily, I am not sure how many I will be able to complete this year, but I have plans for several more, as well as some sideline onlookers.

  5. I certainly see the feminine quality that's in the piece. There's something about the costuming that appears to stem from Eastern European peasantry, hard rural living, and plague victims. Its as gentle and inviting as it is terrifying.

    It's just another haunting addition to the parade and another fine example of your craft.

  7. Definitely feminine. And I agree with KingUnicorn: a peasant feel with her lovely little babushka. I see her as a (once) elderly little lady.

    And one has to wonder: is she wandering because of a curse, or has she accomplished her goal of life beyond life?
