I have always had an affinity for long flowing lines coupled with a dark theme. This piece is my first endeavor to create a small version of my Rising Spirits Halloween prop. It is a wire frame sculpt that I have added strategic bits of air dry clay and small pieces of cheesecloth. In this picture, I have nearly completed the detailing and have painted a base coat. I am enjoying this piece very much, and have plans for several other versions of this style and theme.

Budget Bodies
A few years ago I needed to make a bunch of bodies for a meat-locker type room. I came up with a method for making super-cheap, durable, yet fairly realistic body forms. The premise for the room was the guests will walk thru a room that is literally filled with hanging bodies. The room is lit only with a strobe light, creating confusion as the bodies swing when the guests travel thru the room. Because of the limited line of site, there are many places for actors to hide. The overall effect was a stunning room with lots of scare factor for very little cash.
Need a few bodies of your own? Check out my original thread on Hauntforum.com for more info on this economical prop.

Giant Mantis Monster spotted at The Shadow Farm!
Run for your lives! A giant mutant insect has been seen terrorizing the countryside near The Shadow Farm. It has a nasty disposition, and a taste for human prey.
The only way to stop this monstrosity is to visit etsy and purchase it now before it falls into the wrong hands! Think of the children!!! Won't somebody think of the children????!!!

Some old Pix
Feeling a bit nostalgic...these pix are from my early efforts at prop building. Pictured above, Dr. Spew does his nasty before I added a vomit flow control.
This picture always reminded me of the Pep Boys...Manny , Moe, and Jack.
Always liked how this animated corpse head turned out....the head violently shot out of the top of a crate, opening its mouth as it escaped. Coupled with the wide open jaw was a blood curdling, hair raising, otherworldly scream....Creepy
My favorite picture of all time. My Dad and Lionel 'T-Bone' Walker snooze at a campout. My Grandpa watches as Baby Cotton tries to get some attention.
