Great pieces, Dave. The first one is appropriately rotted and mounted like some prized necromancer's skull. The second has a perfect "bog mummy" coloring to it that speaks to me from beyond the grave.
And the melted candle wax effect you created above the second ties it all together.
If I haven't said it before, I'm glad you're out there doing what you do. This is the work that pushes me to dig deeper with my concepts.
Positively amazing work. I think that second casting is brilliant. I'm assuming it's a sconce(?). Is it available for purchase?
